Ry Faraola

Ry Faraola is a graphic designer, typographer and artist based in London whose practice interrogates the relationship between design, power, and class consciousness. Working across typography, graphic design, publishing, and participatory objects, Faraola uses humor and irony as critical tools to expose the contradictions embedded in contemporary design culture.

With an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, a certificate in type design from Letterform Archive's Type West program, and dual bachelors degrees in Studio Art and Visual Cultures from University of California Santa Cruz, Faraola brings both theoretical depth and practical experience to projects that span commercial design, community organizing, museum commissions, and independent publishing.
